Symetri enters Latin America through FF Solutions buyout
The Brazilian company brings over 110 employees and nearly £7m net sales
Symetri today announced its acquisition of Brazil-based FF Solutions, marking its entry into the LATAM market.
The 30-year-old company based in São Paulo provides technology, consulting, and education solutions to companies around Brazil in the manufacture, building, and infrastructure sectors.
It currently employs 110 people, who will continue to operate under the FF Solutions name and from existing offices for the foreseeable future.
Existing relationships and support to current customers will reportedly remain unchanged.
Clients will gain access to Sweden-based Symetri’s network and portfolio, including its own products, such as Naviate, Sovelia and CQ.
The acquisition will also aim to help the company gain investment, expertise, as well as new technologies to broaden its portfolio.
FF Solutions’ net sales for FY25 are expected to reach SEK 90m (£6.99m).
“The fusion of talent, technology and investment makes this a great opportunity for us to continue enabling the world to design, build and manufacture in a smarter and more sustainable way,” said Jens Kollserud, CEO of Symetri.
“The team at FF Solutions have captured our enthusiasm with their ambition, technical expertise and diversity.
“Not only do we believe we can accelerate the work they are doing with their clients, but we also believe they will challenge us to innovate faster and raise the bar on creativity and impact.”
Marilia Frazillio, CEO of FF Solutions, added: "Joining forces with Symetri gives us the opportunity to deliver even greater value to our clients, helping to create smarter, more liveable cities and a more advanced, globally competitive manufacturing sector.
“The network of experts they have, together with their range of productivity and sustainability solutions will enable us to accelerate the transformation of Brazil’s cities, infrastructure and manufacturing capability in new and innovative ways.
“With Symetri, our clients can be more productive, more competitive and more sustainable, and our team can learn, grow and be at the forefront of creating a better Brazil and a better world.”
This move also marks the Swedish software, training, and consultancy services provider’s expansion across the Americas, three years after it entered the US market through the buyouts of Microdesk in 2022 and Team D3 in 2023.
The firm now wants to tackle the region’s growing opportunities, given Brazil’s standing of having the world’s fifth-largest urban population and is one of the continent’s most dynamic centres for technology development.
As of 2025, its UK branch ranks number 61 in CRN’s Top VARs list.
