Trustmarque and XMA strike new cyber deals

British VARs double down on identity security and data handling through strategic partnerships

Trustmarque and XMA have announced separate deals with foreign vendors, Silverfort and Tsecond.

The new partnerships will both aim to enhance the partners’ portfolios, respectively in identity security and data handling.

Trustmarque X Silverfort

The collaboration between Trustmarque and Silverfort will strive to provide the VAR’s customers with better identity posture management, as well as threat detection and response capabilities for identity-based attacks.

Israel-based Silverfort is a cybersecurity vendor that provides identity security by monitoring and intercepting authentication traffic to enforce multi-factor authentication on systems that don’t support modern security controls.

The new alliance comes as identity-based attacks are on the up, with 83 per cent of organisations having experienced an identity-related breach, according to Silverfort’s The State of the Identity Attack Surface report .

“This partnership with Silverfort allows us to offer our customers a holistic approach to identity protection, covering all aspects of their IT infrastructure, including the cloud, legacy systems and command-line interfaces that were previously challenging to secure,” said James Holton, head of cybersecurity at Trustmarque.

Leslie Bois, VP of global channels at Silverfort, added: “We are thrilled to partner with Trustmarque to bring our end-to-end identity security platform to their customers.

“Now and in the future, organisations need a modern identity security solution that breaks down the barriers between cloud and on-prem to provide a unified identity security layer that works holistically across all environments.

“Together with Trustmarque’s expertise, we can help organisations visualise, detect, prevent, and respond to identity-based attacks effectively.”

XMA X Tsecond

XMA has made an exclusive partnership with US-based cybersecurity vendor Tsecond, bringing its BRYCK technology to the UK market.

Launched in 2021, the company’s BRYCK technology aims to provide customers with solutions for fast, secure, and portable petabyte-scale data transfer.

The technology will be made available to both the public and private sector and will aim to help firms manage large-scale data and AI inferencing capabilities.

Tsecond is involved in organisations within the fields of research, media production, aerospace and aviation, government and defence, cloud seeding, edge computing, and data archiving.

XMA is now the sole provider of BRYCK technology solutions and associated services throughout the UK.

The VAR will intend to leverage its market reach and customer relationships, to deploy the vendor’s technology solutions across various sectors in the country.

“Our exclusive partnership with Tsecond introduces their groundbreaking BRYCK technology, heralding a new level of data mobility and high-performance edge computing,” said Darren Howe, strategy and commercial director at XMA.

“By combining this technology with XMA’s reach, we’re equipping businesses with secure, sustainable, and scalable tools that truly enhance their data management processes.”

Sahil Chawla, CEO of Tsecond, added: “Through our exclusive partnership with XMA, we’re empowering businesses across the UK, Ireland, and Europe to harness the power of Edge innovation.

“We’re delivering tangible improvements in data handling and edge inferencing - faster transfers, greater capacity, better portability, and increased efficiency - alongside a strong commitment to sustainability and customer success.”

This is the second exclusive deal made by XMA in the last six months, as the organisation joined forces with data intelligence services provider DataGardener in November 2024.
