Aspire heads North with Sentis acquisition
This marks the MSP’s fourth buyout in two years
Aspire Technology Solutions has taken over Warrington-based Sentis Managed Solutions to expand its footprint in the North West.
The deal adds more than 80 customers.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Sentis is an MSP focused predominantly on mid-sized organisations, providing services across IT and communications.
The acquisition will give its customers access to Aspire’s wider portfolio across cyber security, managed services, secure networks and enterprise voice.
All Sentis employees will join Aspire and the business will trade under the Aspire brand.
Sentis co-founder Neil Homer will remain with the business and support its integration into Redcentric, while founders Martin Perry and Michael Cox will step back from operational roles and continue to support the company as ambassadors.
“Sentis has built an impressive position in the region, and bringing our teams and expertise together will create new opportunities for customers and colleagues alike,” said Aspire CEO and founder Chris Fraser.
“Our previous acquisitions have given us a clear understanding of what effective integration requires.
“Building trusted relationships, nurturing talent, and doing the right thing for customers are key, and they’re values we see clearly in Sentis.”
Homer added: “Sentis has built real momentum, and joining Aspire gives us access to the investment and wider capabilities to take that forward."
“It enables us to offer more to our customers while retaining the relationships they value.”
Aspire continues M&A drive
Sentis becomes Aspire’s fourth acquisition since 2024 and its second deal this year.
The Gateshead-HQ MSP took over Cloud Cover IT in January 2024 before snapping up CloudCoCo’s managed IT services business in October that year.
It returned resumed its M&A strategy in March with the buyout of Scottish IT services provider NVT Group.
The MSP is now targeting £100m in annual revenue by FY30, up from £71.7m in FY26.
Aspire has been backed by private equity firm LDC since 2022, with the investor reinvesting in December and retaining a significant minority stake alongside new minority co-investor Federated Hermes.
The company said the additional backing would support the next phase of its expansion strategy.
