France-HQ distributor Exclusive Networks has appointed Sergio Amodeo as its new CFO, replacing Nathalie Bühnemann after more than three years in the role.

While the position marks his entry into the IT channel, Amodeo brings over 20 years of experience as CFO.

He first took on the role at food-products organisation Danone, where he held a number of CFO positions across different business units and regions over a ten-year period.

He later held the same C-suite role at Bolton Group, TeamSystem, Radisson Hotel Group and, most recently, Italy-based food ingredients group Nexture.

The company said Amodeo’s experience will be instrumental as Exclusive Networks enters its next chapter.

“[Amodeo] is an outstanding executive who has led finance functions through complex, high-growth environments across multiple geographies and business models,” said Jesper Trolle, CEO of Exclusive.

“His expertise, judgment and leadership will be invaluable as we pursue our ambitions and continue to build a business of lasting value for our stakeholders.”

The appointment comes as Exclusive Networks has reshaped its worldwide operations over the past 12 months.

In July, the company acquired DAN Distribution to open up new growth opportunities for its vendors and expand its portfolio for channel partners and resellers across the region, Rob Tomlin, regional GM of Exclusive Networks Northern Europe, told CRN at the time.

In an interview with CRN, Exclusive’s UK country manager Adam Williamson explained that the organisation would become “a different business” over the coming months and years following the completion of its acquisition by US-based private equity firm CD&R.

In September, it announced a partnership with cybersecurity company Zero Networks across Europe and the UKI.

In March, Ignition Technology expanded its services into North America through a partnership with Exclusive.

Last month, the distributor also expanded its partnership with Okta across Central and Eastern Europe.
