Michael Herman leaves Netskope, hints at 'next adventure’

The EMEA and LATAM channel leader steps down after over five years at the company

Michael Herman, VP of partner sales and ecosystems, EMEA and LATAM at Netskope, has announced his departure from the company.

He shared his move in a LinkedIn post.

“February 1st marks the end of my journey at Netskope, where over the past five years, I have had the privilege of building and leading an exceptional team,” he wrote.

“Together, we have significantly contributed to the growth and success of Netskope, culminating in an IPO last September.”

Herman added that, when he first joined the US-based vendor in 2021, has was faced with a small channel team as well as a varied and unclear go-to-market strategy in EMEA and LATAM.

Under his leadership, the organisation has reportedly established a robust network of partners, strategic alliances, GSIs, CSPs and distributors.

The tech leader also noted he would be starting his “next adventure” in a few weeks from now.

In a previous exchange with CRN, Herman explained he made the decision “to go 100 per cent partner-driven in EMEA and Latin America.”

At the time the interview was published, he said he grew the team to around 30 people focused on channel managers, dedicated partner resources in customer success and marketing and systems engineering across EMEA, LATAM and APAC.

This move comes as Netskope has reshuffled its global and local leadership team over the past 12 months.

In March, it promoted Tony Burnside to SVP of APJ.

In September, Patsy Gilmore stepped up as chief people officer.

The company has also recently increased its collaboration with partners in EMEA.

Earlier this month, it joined forces with Telefónica Tech UK&I to launch Telefónica Tech Security Edge service, through which the reseller will offer managed services based on Netskope’s technology.

The firm reported revenue of $184.2m (£134.9m) in Q3 FY26, a 33 per cent increase from the year prior.
