Rapid7 taps Exclusive Networks to boost UKI channel footprint
The agreement marks the third expansion of the companies’ distribution partnership across EMEA this year
US-based cybersecurity vendor Rapid7 has signed Exclusive Networks as its strategic distribution partner in the UK and Ireland to expand its channel presence across the region.
Under the agreement, Exclusive will distribute Rapid7’s security operations platform while providing partner enablement and go-to-market support to help drive customer adoption.
The two companies said the partnership is designed to bolster the cybersecurity ecosystem across Northern Europe by combining Rapid7’s security platform with Exclusive’s regional channel reach and cybersecurity expertise.
Exclusive said it brings more than 550 reseller relationships across Northern Europe to the partnership.
“This partnership is about creating long-term value for partners and customers alike,” said Mike Ryan, head of distribution, EMEA at Rapid7.
“The UK market is a highly advanced, partner-driven region and increasingly focused on outcome-based cybersecurity.
“[Exclusive]’s deep regional expertise, cybersecurity specialisation and commitment to partner enablement make them an ideal strategic distributor for Rapid7 as we continue investing in growth across the region.”
Neil Brosnan, vendor alliances director at Exclusive Networks UK, added that customers were increasingly looking to simplify their security operations.
“Customers don’t need more tools; they need platforms that help them see more, respond faster and reduce risk with confidence. That’s why Rapid7 is such a great addition to our portfolio.
“Together, we’re giving partners the technology and expertise they need to build more strategic security practices and deliver better outcomes for customers.”
The agreement marks the third expansion of the companies’ distribution partnership across EMEA this year.
Last week, the two firms expanded their strategic distribution partnership across the Benelux region.
In May, they signed a similar agreement covering Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland and the Baltics.
Rapid7 has also revamped its leadership team, doubled down on its EMEA strategy and updated its partner programme over the past 12 months.
In June, it appointed Wael Mohamed as CEO, replacing Corey Thomas, who transitioned to executive chairman.
In September, it named Allan Peters chief commercial officer.
It also updated its PACT channel scheme by introducing a new Platinum partner tier in March.
Last October, the vendor launched a local entity and a local instance of its platform in the UAE as part of its push across the Middle East.
