Serge Lupas appointed Node4 CEO
He succeeds Neil Muller, with the MSP maintaining focus on AI, cloud, data and managed services growth
Node4 has appointed Serge Lupas as CEO, three months after the passing of former CEO Neil Muller, as the MSP looks to maintain momentum behind its growth strategy.
Lupas joins Node4 from Cyclomedia Technology, where he served as global CEO.
He has also previously held leadership positions at Kantar Media, as well as several other international technology, data and connectivity businesses.
The new CEO will continue to build on the Growing Together strategy set earlier in the year, with a strong focus across AI business solutions, cloud and hybrid platforms, security, data and managed services.
Node4 has remained clear that the new appointment does not signal a change in strategy for the business, and Lupas will execute and accelerate the strategy already put in place.
A spokesperson at the business commented, “Our strategic priorities remain focused on delivering sustainable growth by helping customers achieve better business outcomes through technology.
“That means continuing to invest across AI business solutions, cloud and hybrid platforms, security, data and managed services, while building on Node4’s strengths in Microsoft, UK sovereign infrastructure and end-to-end managed services.
“[Lupas’] immediate priority will be to spend time with colleagues, customers and partners, understand where we can accelerate the strategy already in place and ensure we continue translating those capabilities into greater value for customers.”
In a statement, Lupas said he was attracted by the strength of the business, its customer relationships and technical capabilities.
"What drew me to Node4 was the strength of the people, the quality of customer relationships and the depth of capability across the business,” said Lupas.
“While I didn't know [Muller] personally, I've heard a great deal about the energy, ambition, and belief he brought to Node4.
“I have real confidence in the strategy and the direction that has been set.
“My immediate focus is to listen, learn and work alongside colleagues and customers and help accelerate the momentum already underway.”
Lupas brings with him extensive experience leading and scaling global organisations, a background Node4 believes will support its ambitions across AI, cloud, data and managed services.
A spokesperson from Node4 commented, “
Patrick De Smedt, non-executive chair, commented, “Muller led Node4 with enormous energy and conviction, and he is deeply missed.
“In [Lupas], we have found an experienced leader who recognises the strength of the strategy [Muller] helped shape with the board and executive team and has the capability to accelerate its delivery for our customers and our people.
“Our strategic direction remains unchanged. [Lupas] joins us to build on the strong foundations already in place and lead Node4 through its next phase of growth.”
Muller was appointed Node4 CEO in April, having previously held leadership positions at Daisy and Digital Space.
He had been tasked with driving the company's next phase of growth and expanding its AI-focused managed services proposition.
