Westcon-Comstor becomes first European distributor to deliver Proofpoint professional services
The agreement will aim to boost recuring revenue growth for partners
Westcon-Comstor has expanded its partnership with Proofpoint, becoming the first distributor in Europe authorised to deliver the vendor’s professional services.
Under the agreement, Westcon will provide production-ready deployments of Proofpoint solutions through a set of packaged, partner-focused service offerings.
The move is designed to help partners across the region capture higher-margin services opportunities and accelerate recurring revenue.
Westcon will focus on the vendor’s email security portfolio, enabling collaborators to deliver implementations aimed at boosting customers’ email security posture.
Further plans include extending the services to additional Proofpoint solutions later this year.
“Gaining authorisation to deliver Proofpoint professional services opens up exciting new possibilities for Westcon and our partners”, said Martin Flensburg, VP of services delivery and go-to-market, Europe at Westcon-Comstor.
“This agreement with Proofpoint highlights our leadership in this space and our commitment to creating new opportunities for our partners.”
Kent Breaux, EMEA SVP at Proofpoint, added: “Through our Certified Deployment Partner (CDP) programme, Westcon-Comstor will deliver Proofpoint professional services that enable partners across Europe to implement and deliver our solutions to customers, strengthening their security posture and accelerating time-to-value.”
The expansion marks the latest step in the duo’s relationship.
In July, the distie became the first Proofpoint Authorised Training Partner (ATP) in Europe, enabling it to deliver the organisation’s training and education services to partners and end users across the region.
The vendor has also joined Westcon’s AWS Marketplace programme in October.
The announcement also follows a year of new and expanded vendor relationships for the distributor.
Over the past 12 months, it signed agreements with companies including UiPath, Meter, Check Point Software, Fortanix, Cato Networks, 1Password, Ericsson and Vectra AI.
Additionally, the firm strengthened its European presence through acquisitions and leadership reshuffles.
Last month, Westcon acquired Slovenia-based value-added cyber distributor REAL Security.
It also promoted Rene Klein to EVP of Europe and Stéphane Reboud to European sales SVP in 2025.
