Servers Plus brings HP quotation tool to end users

Recently launched iQuote service rolled out by West Yorkshire distributor

Hardware distributor Servers Plus is rolling out HP's iQuote channel quotation tool to end users.

Launched last week to distributors across North America and EMEA, iQuote aims to provide channel partners with information on product availability, price and promotions and incentive schemes. It also offers configuration tools. It is powered by channel marketing specialist channelcentral.net.

Castleford-based Servers Plus claims to be the first distributor to make iQuote available to end users, as it rolls out the service to organisations in the commercial and education markets.

Servers Plus business manager James Yates said: "For us to be able to offer our partners custom-configured solutions will not only offer SMB customers a new way to buy HP products, but the ability to deliver next day could revolutionise the way customers buy bespoke IT solutions generally."
