CSI Group welcomes new chief
Alan Watkins' ever-growing mid-market player appoints Richard Midgley as its new MD
Fast growing mid-market player CSI Group has appointed Richard Midgley as its new managing director.
The firm has been in fierce acquisition mode for the past year, snapping up CSI, SysMicro, CVSI and the SAP assets from K3.
Midgley (pictured) has been with CSI since 1999 as the SAP business unit director, and was promoted to the Board in 2002.
He was part of the team that masterminded a management buy out from DCS Group in 2003 and has built and grown the SAP business ever since.
Since CSI was acquired by PE firm Blackhawk Capital, Midgley has been heavily involved with the integration and planning process for the ever-expanding solutions and services player.
Alan Watkins, chairman of CSI Group, said: "We are delighted to announce the promotion of Richard to this new role. He has invaluable knowledge of our partners, customers and staff, but has also demonstrated a real commitment to our strategy to transform the business into a next generation solutions provider."
