Ingram expands Samsung relationship with WLAN kit
Hardware and software on offer to meet 'ever-burgeoning' demand
Giants of the industry Ingram Micro and Samsung have teamed up on a push into wireless in the enterprise, with the distributor adding Samsung WLAN products to its arsenal.
Paul Templeton, general manager of the networks business at Samsung UK, said Ingram had been chosen for its experience in selling wireless technologies.
"Integrators will gain access to innovative wireless products from a household name," Templeton said.
Samsung announced its Wireless Enterprise offering last year, and has so far had related products installed with customers in the public sector, manufacturing, and hospitality verticals.
Daniel Maynard, head of datacentre, infrastructure and networking categories at Ingram Micro, said there is still "ever-burgeoning" demand when it comes to wireless hardware.
The Samsung Wireless Enterprise range includes access points, access controllers, wireless communications management boxes, an IP phone, and software for UC, mobile VoIP and WLAN management.
