Northamber gets ahead of the curve with Samsung

Distie signs deal with electronics giant to sell its display range, including curved models

Northamber has struck a deal with tech giant Samsung to distribute its display range, including a number of its new curved models.

As part of the deal, the distie will have the rights to sell the firm's display portfolio in the UK, which it claims will be good news for its reseller base.

"Northamber is thrilled to announce that we are working with Samsung Electronics in the UK," the firm said. "We have a long history of success in displays and working with Samsung will complement our existing offerings and reinforce Northamber as the destination for SMB resellers looking for unparalleled display expertise."

Samsung is one in a long line of new vendor signings at Northamber. Last autumn, the firm held a Tech Expo event in Epsom where it showcased new partnerships with vendors such as Yamaha, managed-print firm UTAX and 3D printer vendor Zeepro.

In March this year the firm unveiled plans to work with consumer electronics vendor Prestigio.

Northamber said Samsung's curved display range, which the vendor says offers users a "truly immersive viewing experience" will be an asset.

"Samsung has an extremely innovative range of display products, with exciting, competitive solutions that we believe our resellers will benefit from access to," Northamber said.

"We see significant opportunities in bringing the latest Samsung display products, including 4K ultra HD and world-class curved models, to our SMB resellers and we look forward to working closely together to develop these prospects."
