Daisy makes second acquisition this week

Comms giant picks up Portsmouth-based Cisco and Apple partner

Daisy has continued its recent acquisition spree by snapping up Portsmouth-based reseller DV02.

The acquisition rounds off a double swoop for Daisy this week, which also saw it take over £10m comms VAR Voice Mobile.

Dave McGinn, managing director, Daisy SMB services and distribution, said: "We are delighted to have acquired DV02 and welcome its customers and employees.

"It is another example of how we are keen to provide owners of partner businesses with a means of capitalising on their exit strategies.

"Acquisitions of this nature have obvious positive ramifications for both parties and I now look forward to DV02 customers and employees thriving within the Daisy SMB business."

DV02 works across a number of areas including voice, data and networking, and counts Cisco, Apple and Mitel among its strategic vendor partners.

DV02 owner Vince Potter added: "We have enjoyed a great working relationship with Daisy for a number of years and when the time came to look at our future plans, they were the obvious partner to approach.

"The understanding between the two businesses leaves me with confidence that everything we have worked for, and the people we employ, will all be in safe hands."
