CRN Women in Channel hub relaunched
Hub will explore how industry is innovating on thorny issue of diversity
CRN is delighted to announce the relaunch of its Women in Channel hub.
Over the coming months, this hub will be used to highlight all content related to our 2019 Women in Channel campaign, which will culminate in the 2019 CRN Women in Channel Awards on 17 October.
This builds on the success of the 2018 CRN Women in Channel Awards, which was attended by over 600 people last October (check out the video here).
We are also proud to today announce Cisco, Tech Data, Computacenter and Comms-care as launch partners for this year's CRN Women in Channel awards.
The nomination process is currently in full swing, and you can nominate yourself or a colleague here (the deadline is 17 May).
The categories encompass all levels and roles within the channel, from CEO and sales leaders, to technical employees and graduates. This includes a new Executive Mentor category open to both men and women.
The company-wide categories have also been refreshed, with a new category for companies demonstrating leadership around gender pay equality added (view all the categories here).
The judging line-up was announced earlier this week. Keep your eyes peeled for a few more high-profile judges that we will imminently announced.
CRN's Women in Channel campaign highlights the channel leaders and companies taking the initiative to make our industry more representative of society at large.
Throughout the year, the hub will be filled with features, analysis pieces and interviews with the industry's top women and men, to explore best practice and what the channel can, and should, to innovate on this issue.
Recent highlights include our analysis of gender pay gaps within the top 40 UK resellers, as well as an interview on gender diversity with Softcat CEO Graeme Watt.
