HP expands Amplify Impact programme to 24 more countries
HP says it won more than $3.5bn in new sales in fiscal 2021 thanks to sustainability commitment
HP has expanded its Amplify Impact programme to an additional 24 countries across Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific and Japan.
The HP Amplify Impact programme was launched last year to give partners access to training, sales tools and marketing assets to help them win competitive opportunities around sustainability.
The voluntary addition to HP's flagship Amplify programme was launched in an initial 19 countries including the UK, US, Germany and France and required partners to sign a sustainability pledge with the vendor.
The programme is split into two tracks: Catalyst and Changemaker, with Catalyst partners expected to take the HP Amplify Impact Pledge, participate in a sustainability assessment and report sales opportunities to HP.
The Changemaker track is meanwhile designed to help partners that do not yet have a sustainability strategy in place to build a long-term sustainability plan.
HP has now announced that the Catalyst track of the programme has now been expanded to cover an additional 24 countries including Poland, Switzerland, Ireland and Norway (see the bottom of the article for the full list of countries).
HP has added new features to its Amplify Impact Initiatives Hub, including an automated modular sustainability planning platform with new capabilities including Carbon Footprint and 360 Diversity Equity and Inclusion Assessments.
The PC and print vendor set itself the goal of enrolling at least 50 per cent of its HP Amplify partners to the programme by 2025.
Currently 20 per cent of HP partners have signed the Amplify Impact Pledge which HP claims exceeds its target of 10 per cent set for the first year of the programme.
HP claims that its commitment to sustainability helped it win more than $3.5bn in new sales for its fiscal year 2021, representing a three-fold increase on the previous year.
" We all have a shared stake in safeguarding our planet and having a positive effect on the communities we serve," said Kobi Elbaz, GM of HP's global channel organization.
"By partnering with our vast global channel ecosystem, we can more effectively scale our goals in forging a path towards a better future for all."
