Business printing solutions provider Brother UK has strengthened its leadership team with two senior promotions to support its growth plans.
Stuart Maclean (left in the picture) and Mike Anderson (right in the picture) have been promoted to chief financial officer (CFO) and to chief marketing officer (CMO) respectively.
In the new position, Maclean will be responsible for overseeing the business' financial activities including auditing, strategy and delivering profitability across the firm's categories.
He will also continue his role as head of European finance shared services, leading a team of 33 across 13 countries, including the UK.
While Anderson will have full responsibility for the business' marketing operations as CMO, developing strategies to drive Brother UK's growth and will oversee a team of 25.
His new role follows the retirement of sales and marketing director Andy Forsyth, after 11 years with the business and a 40-year long career in business technology.
Phil Jones, managing director at Brother UK, said: "As the print sector rapidly evolves, we're more determined than ever to grow and add value to our internal team to better serve our partners and end users.
"Both Maclean and Anderson are already well respected in the business and will be instrumental in helping us respond to the sector's changes with great precision.
"These moves are testament to the company's commitment to developing colleagues while identifying opportunities to expand and refocus the leadership team to deliver success."
The duo's hires closely follow Greig Millar's appointment to chief revenue officer and Terry Caulfield's promotion to chief commercial officer and will sit alongside Louise Marshall (director of ESG & OD) and Keith Howe (director of supply chain & service).
Brother UK has been growing as a company, recently launching a new flagship professional colour laser range to close the gap on competitors with office workgroup and mid-range class models and a range of new solutions to support businesses across retail and transport and logistics.
