TD SYNNEX partners to 'unlock growth' with health and fitness assessment tool
The distribution giant says the tool will give partners access to new business opportunities and support their customers’ digital transformation journeys
Distributor TD SYNNEX is launching a data-driven partner health and fitness tool that will provide MSPs, VARs and ISVs with insights into their diversification across the TD SYNNEX portfolio.
The distributor said the assessment will provide information to guide partners to new business opportunities and support their customers' digital transformation journeys.
The tool will feature a dashboard that will provide firms with metrics to gauge their offerings against other TD SYNNEX partners across the technology ecosystem that are also participating in areas like cloud, cybersecurity, AI and IoT, and hyperscale infrastructure.
"At TD SYNNEX, we are consistently exploring new ways to drive value for our customers, and what better way than to provide them insights into their businesses through the data we see at the centre of the technology business partner ecosystem," said Stacy Nethercoat, executive VP of advanced solutions at TD SYNNEX.
"We know partners have many considerations when trying to identify business opportunities that will maximise growth.
"This tool provides compelling and actionable competitive insights that can guide their decision-making when it comes to diversifying their portfolios."
The tool will also give users a score that reflects the comparison with other TD SYNNEX partners.
Composite scores are aggregated on a bell curve, which enables the partner being assessed to see how its performance compares with the rest of the industry.
"Our custom algorithm looks at a multitude of factors, including volume, portfolio mix, digital transformation growth and others, to drive value to partners in through data-driven business insights that only TD SYNNEX can provide," Nethercoat said.
"As a result, partners receive an honest assessment of their benchmark as compared to peers."
The health and fitness assessment is currently open to US-based partners, and TD SYNNEX is evaluating expansion to other regions in the Americas and in Europe.
The team hopes to customise the algorithm for each region to provide a country- or region-specific set of data that is beneficial to those customers.
TD SYNNEX has been enjoying a strong past few months with two vendor signings in the last few weeks.
The Zyxel signing, just under a month ago, gave TD SYNNEX and its partners immediate access to the vendor's range of networking, wireless and security appliance solutions.
And a week prior, TD SYNNEX became the exclusive distributor in the UK of the new SYNOLOGY BeeDrive backup hub.
The distributor claimed this agreement underlined its strong credentials in the SMB and prosumer market and its ability to support partners in maximising their sales.
