Westcon-Comstor becomes first EMEA services distie for Zscaler

Westcon-Comstor has become the first EMEA services distributor for cloud security vendor Zscaler, the two companies announced today.

In a strategic move, Westcon-Comstor will curate bespoke packages centred around Zscaler services, designed to propel the adoption of Zscaler's renowned zero-trust portfolio.

This collaboration underscores Westcon's dedication to offering seamless, efficient deployment solutions, encompassing Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX).

The result is an optimised experience for both partners and end-users, fostering safe, rapid internet and SaaS access, thereby enhancing overall productivity, according to the two companies.

Martin Flensburg, VP of business operations, global supply chain solutions and services at Westcon-Comstor, expressed enthusiasm, stating: "We're excited to become the first distributor to achieve Zscaler authorised services partner status.

"This agreement exemplifies how we are adding value to the channel and specifically to our partners through innovative collaborations, ultimately bringing enhanced security and efficiency to end-user businesses while enabling partners to maintain strong relationships with their customers."

Phanneth Wood, VP Global Distribution at Zscaler, echoed the excitement, stating: "We are excited to partner with Westcon-Comstor as our first authorised distributor for professional services, enabling us to deliver tailored solutions to our partners and their customers."

This is the latest in a series of cybersecurity vendor wins for Westcon-Comstor, which signed a global distribution deal with Check Point in November.

The deal announcement comes on the back of a positive year for the global distributor as it recently reported a 14.9 per cent year-on-year increase in first-half revenue to $1.85bn - a result they claimed is a company's record.
