Advania Norway has tapped Siv Hjellegjerde Martinsen as CEO. The Nordic reseller made the announcement this week, stating that she will take over the position effective 1 September.

Martinsen joins the reseller firm from credit management provider Intrum Lindorff, where she has held the title of MD for Lindorff Norway and Intrum Sweden since January 2020.

Prior to this, she was head of PR at Danske Bank for 13 years, before moving on to the role of chief commercial officer for the financial group's pension arm, Danica, for a year.

"Siv has a strong financial background combined with extensive leadership experience. We believe this will elevate the Advania team here in Norway," said group CEO and acting CEO of Advania Norway, Hege Støre.

Støre will remain acting CEO for Norway until Martinsen's official start date.

Stockholm-HQ Advania has been making a number of organisational shifts this year, some of which it outlined in its recently published sustainability report.

In particular, the report singled out circular IT, employee and customer retention, cybersecurity and its ongoing brand refresh as core pillars of its sustainability and overall business strategy.

In March, the reseller furthered its growth in Norway with the acquisition of local MSP Solv, which specialises in large advisory, design and development projects offering tailored solutions for customers.

The MSP is hoping to scale its existing services and introduce new ones to clients in Norway.
