Trustmarque hails council project success
VAR celebrates successful unified communications deployment at Kirklees Council
David Marriott-Lodge: Project was successfully delivered on time and within budget
VAR Trustmarque Solutions has hailed the work it has done to improve the productivity of Kirklees Council a success.
The firm was enlisted by the council to overhaul its email system, resulting in the deployment of a new unified communications platform.
It also moved the council onto Microsoft’s Enterprise Agreement programme to reduce the number of individual licensing contracts it had in place.
The project has been heralded a success by Trustmarque because it took just four months to complete and has helped the council save money.
Jonathan Wilkinson, assistant head of service for the IT department at Kirklees Council, said: “Trustmarque provided expert product knowledge, project management and successfully negotiated the enterprise agreement to plan and budget."
David Marriott-Lodge, services and solutions director of Trustmarque, said: “This project was successfully delivered to very tight timescales and it is fantastic to see an example of how public sector organisations can make substantial cost reductions by investing in their IT estate.”
