Titan Data Solutions appoints new regional director of MENA
Anand Chakravarthi becomes first head of the region after Titan launched in UAE last year
London-based distie Titan Data Solutions has named Anand Chakravarthi as regional director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to develop its regional presence.
He will aim to lead the distributor’s sales strategy, make new partnerships, and drive the company’s expansion across MENA.
Chakravarthi started his IT career in 2004 at UAE-based systems integrator Al Futtaim Technologies.
He stayed at the company until 2011, where he last occupied the position of senior account manager.
He transitioned to regional director of Middle East and India at Pivot3, where he stayed for over nine years, assuming different roles such as area VP of MEA and area VP of MEA, India, and APAC.
In 2021, Chakravarthi joined Quantum as director of strategic markets EMEA and South Asia, before becoming regional director of Southeast Asia.
“With businesses across the region accelerating investment into AI and Advanced Computing, it presents a tremendous opportunity for Titan,” said Steve Low, MD of Titan Data Solutions.
“At the heart of these advancements lies the need for powerful, scalable, and secure server and storage infrastructure.
“With Anand’s leadership, we’re well positioned to deliver value to partners across the region and drive new market opportunities for them and our vendors.”
Chakravarthi added: “I am delighted to be starting at Titan Data Solutions and thrilled at the opportunity to lead the business in MENA.
“It is an exciting time to be joining the company, and I look forward to meeting and collaborating with our vendors and partners as we plan for a future focused on value and growth.”
Titan entered the MENA region in July 2024, when establishing a presence in the UAE.
The organisation made its first step into global expansion in May last year, when launching in Sweden.
“We believe that these regions offer tremendous opportunities for our business,” said Phil Browne, sales director at Titan, in an interview with CRN.
These international moves come as the company aims to achieve £100m by 2028, ten years after its original rollout.
