‘We aim to hit £100m by 2028’: Titan sales director on Nexsan partnership expansion
Extended collaboration will aim to seize market opportunity in the Nordics
British distie Titan Data Solutions has expanded its distribution agreement with Nexsan to cover the Scandinavian market, after five successful years in the UK.
By extending Nexsan’s solutions to the Nordics, Titan will be able to enhance its portfolio for partners across Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.
The company first set foot in Sweden in May 2024 when it established Titan Data Solutions Sweden.
CRN spoke with Phil Browne, sales director at Titan, to understand what the distributor expects from this enhanced agreement.
Browne explains that the two firms are taking their joint activities to the Nordics after five years of Titan being Nexsan’s sole distributor in the UK.
Under this collaboration, the midrange and enterprise storage developer has been able to leverage Titan’s partner base and increase its sales “by 40 per cent in 2023 and 46 per cent in 2024.”
This extended partnership will also aim to strengthen the distie’s ability to “deliver these technologies through [Titan’s] established network of trusted partners in the region,” according to Browne.
“Together, we are well-positioned to drive adoption, support digital innovation, and offer best-in-class storage to businesses across Scandinavia.”
But the distributor is not only building on its recent launch in Scandinavia, as the sales director explains that the company has also recently ramped up its presence in the Middle East.
In July last year, the London-based company entered the MEA region by establishing a presence in the UAE.
“We believe that these regions offer tremendous opportunities for our business,” explains Browne.
He also adds that these territories will “serve as crucial platforms from which to accelerate our growth,” as the company intends to “to achieve [its] goal of £100m revenue by 2028”.
Established in 2018, the distie previously told CRN that it is targeting £45m in its sixth financial year and £100m by its tenth.
