Server and storage solutions distie Titan Data Solutions has announced a distribution agreement with Nexsan to draw on the region’s growing demand for AI and advanced computing technologies.

Titan will aim to help resellers, systems integrators, and enterprise customers deploy Nexsan solutions across various sectors, such as government, healthcare, finance, and surveillance.

Nexsan will offer businesses solutions like storage for large-scale workloads, archiving for compliance, data sovereignty, and long-term retention, storage solutions for datacentres, and storage for digital video surveillance (DVS) and CCTV.

The deal comes as more and more governments and enterprises across MENA accelerate their digital transformation agendas, investment in AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing.

Just yesterday, Nvidia signed agreed to sell hundreds of thousands of AI chips in Saudi Arabia.

Cisco also made a deal with UAE-based AI firm G42, to help the company develop the country’s AI sector.

“Businesses across the region are eager to harness the power of AI and advanced computing, but success depends on a strong foundation, particularly when it comes to secure, reliable, and high-performance storage,” said Anand Chakravarthi, MENA regional director at Titan.

“That’s exactly where Nexsan delivers.”

Adrian Hedges, regional sales director at Nexsan, added: “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Titan Data Solutions into the MENA region.

“Nexsan’s technologies are designed for environments where rapid data growth, high-performance demands, and reliability are non-negotiable.

“By joining forces with Titan, we’re committed to bring our technologies to more partners across the region, helping them bridge the infrastructure gap and unlock the full potential of their data.”

This extended partnership comes as Titan named Chakravarthi regional director of MENA last month to lead its sales strategy, make new partnerships, and drive its expansion across the region.

This marks the second time the two firms have stretched across EMEA this year, following their partnership agreement covering Sweden, Denmark, and Norway in March.

These expansions follow five years of collaboration in the UK, during which the midrange and enterprise storage developer leveraged the distie’s partner base to increase its sales “by 40 per cent in 2023 and 46 per cent in 2024,” Phil Browne, sales director at Titan, told CRN.
