Westcon-Comstor, in collaboration with cybersecurity vendor Check Point Software, has launched a renewal API to speed up partner growth.

The API aims to reduce quote turnaround by accelerating the time it takes to get renewal quotes to partners and their end-users.

It will also automate data flow by eliminating manual data entry and is designed to manage growing volume as the partnership evolves.

Westcon-Comstor is reportedly the first distributor in EMEA to deliver a project of this kind for Check Point.

The move follows seven months of collaboration between the two organisations.

“I’m incredibly proud of what our teams have accomplished together,” said Marianne Nickenig, VP of revenue operations Europe at Westcon-Comstor.

“This is a crucial step in our commitment to automating the entire quote-to-cash process and simplifying operations for our partners, allowing them to focus on creating value for their customers.”

Sylvia Fath, head of distribution EMEA at Check Point Software, added: “The value this new API brings to our joint partners is immense.

“By simplifying our operational processes, we are making it easier than ever for partners to do business with us.”

This comes as Westcon-Comstor has entered and expanded partnerships with vendors including Fortanix, Cato Networks, Proofpoint, Juniper Networks, Ericsson, Vectra AI, CrowdStrike, Splunk and AWS.

Its growing portfolio led to a 9.8 gross sales increase in H1 FY26, from $2.5bn to $2.8bn (£2.1bn).

The company also restructured its leadership team across 2025.

In September, Stéphane Reboud was promoted to SVP of sales for Europe only a few months after he joined the distie as SVP of Comstor Sales, Europe.

In February, it hired Steven Heinsius as VP of product management and marketing EMEA, Comstor.

In early 2025, Ahmed Kassak joined the firm as Sweden country director for Westcon.

The business also made a series of exec changes in December last year, as Russell Blackburn became the company’s first-ever SVP of digital, Atul Damani was appointed chief data officer, Runa Macleod transitioned to SVP of global marketing and Daniel Hurel stepped up as SVP of Westcon EMEA cybersecurity and next-gen solutions.
