Assured Data Protection appoints Tony Giannini to lead Americas channel strategy
This follows a period marked by leadership reshuffles and US consolidation for the MSP
Leeds-HQ Assured Data Protection has named Tony Giannini to lead its channel strategy across the US, Canada and Latin America, as it brings partner engagement under a unified leadership structure.
In addition to his new role, he will continue his duties as global VP of innovation, a position he has held since March 2025.
Prior to joining the business, Giannini worked at tech firms including Nasuni, Rubrik and CDW, where he spent 21 years.
His appointment follows previous inroads into the US, after the company launched a new US public sector arm, led by Patrick Vaughan, in November.
Last year, ADP also sealed a partnership with US-based technology services distributor AVANT to boost cyber resiliency capabilities across the Americas.
Assured’s channel strategy in the Americas will focus on growth across its partner ecosystem.
The emphasis is on collaborations aligned with the company’s managed services model and technology alliances.
The structure will also aim to enable faster partner onboarding for new services and boost adoption across the business’ evolving portfolio.
Assured is looking to consolidate relationships with its top national partners while developing the next wave of regional and mid-market firms across major US cities.
It is also looking towards targeted expansion into Canada and Latin America in the future.
It will rely on partnerships rather than acquisitions, as the company’s focus is purely organic growth, CEO Simon Chappell previously told CRN.
Regarding the announcement, Giannini explained: “When innovation and the channel operate as one, we shorten the distance between idea and impact.
“Our partners are deeply connected to customer needs.
“Bringing that insight directly into our innovation strategy allows us to build, refine, and deliver services that are immediately relevant, easier to adopt, and more valuable in real-world environments.”
This follows a period of leadership restructuring and focus on the North American market across the MSP over the past year.
In November, the firm promoted Andrew Eva to COO.
In July, Assured made a quadruple executive shift, as Stacy Hayes transitioned to the newly created role of chief strategy officer (CSO), Rob Mackle became CRO EMEA, Brian Dutton, CRO Americas, took on greater leadership responsibilities across the region and Rachel Yardy was hired as EMEA channel director.
