Cameo rejigs leadership team following turnover boom
Two former Agilitas C-suite execs join the company
East Midlands-HQ IT provider Cameo has unveiled a revamped exec team following a near-doubling of revenue.
Luke Horton-Walker, who has served as the company’s MD for over five years, will transition to the role of CEO.
Sara Wilkes has been named as the company’s new MD.
She previously worked as CEO of Agilitas IT Solutions from 2024 until the firm entered administration in October due to “significant challenges” and the loss of one of its largest customers
This led to revenue diving 26.4 per cent to £13.04m.
Cameo acquired the faltering organisation’s customer base in October.
Also joining from the fallen channel services firm is services director Michelle Would who onboarded with Cameo in November.
She had served as COO of Agilitas from March until the organisation went into receivership.
Other senior changes made in the past six months include Laura Smith as sales and marketing manager as well as Andy Carter as finance director.
The East Midlands-based company said this reshuffle is intended to boost support to partners and accelerate international delivery.
These appointments follow a period of expansion for the business, with earnings springing around 93 per cent from £8.2m to £15.8m for the year ended 31 January 2025.
EBITDA soared about 204 per cent to £6.2m compared with £2m the year prior.
These results were driven by what the IT partner referred to as further diversification into project services and a national retail rollout across over 35,000 locations.
The company also grew its workforce from 75 to 91 and consolidated its operations with three new warehouses in the UK and Ireland.
"2025 was a fantastic year for Cameo Services, but you can’t just stop there," said Horton-Walker.
"We have loyal customers to continue to support, and a new customer base we are determined to build strong partnerships with.
“My focus as CEO is to accelerate continued growth, ensuring our strategy aligns with the partner’s demands."
The company hinted as further additions to its senior leadership team later in the year to support its trajectory.
