Ingram Micro sees continued growth fuelled by AI infrastructure demand

The distributor posts its eighth consecutive quarter of net sales growth, as Q3 net sales jump 20.8 per cent

Ingram Micro has reported fiscal third quarter results, with net sales up 20.8 per cent year-on year.

The results mark the firm’s eighth consecutive quarter of net sales growth, following record Q2 results published in July.

Net sales totalled $15.2bn (£11.3bn), compared to the same period last year ($12.6bn), attributed to strength in its Advanced Solutions offering, including GPU, AI infrastructure and cloud-based solutions.

Mike Zilis, CFO, Ingram Micro, said, “Our double-digit year-over-year growth is reflective of balanced strength both geographically and by line of business, but remains most robust in Advanced Solutions, including GPU and AI infrastructure as well as Cloud-based Solutions.”

Gross profit grew to $996.9m, up 14.6 per cent from $869.6m in the previous fiscal third quarter.

Adjusted EBITDA totalled $390.1m, compared to the same period the year prior, $342.2m.

Growth in the distributor's regions

Specifically looking at its performance in the EMEA region, net sales totalled $3.9bn, an increase of 7.3 per cent.

The year-on-year increase was driven by 24 per cent growth in Advanced Solutions led by growth in server and storage net sales, and 39 per cent growth in Cloud-based Solutions.

This increase in net sales was partially offset by a one per cent decline in Client and Endpoint Solutions.

In North America, net sales totalled $5.8bn, compared to $4.4bn in the prior fiscal third quarter, driven by a 61 per cent increase in net sales of its Advanced Solutions and AI infrastructure offerings.

Net sales also grew in the Asia-Pacific region, increasing 22.3 per cent from the same period last year, totalling $4.3bn.

In the Asia Pacific region, net sales grew of all its core offerings, Client and End Point Solutions up 21 per cent, Cloud-based Solutions up 44 per cent and other services increased by 39 per cent.

“Our record third-quarter performance reflects the breadth and resilience of our business and continued execution against the strategy we outlined at our Capital Markets Day in September, said Paul Bay, CEO, Ingram Micro.

“We delivered broad-based growth across all four regions, and across our primary lines of business, while continuing to scale Xvantage and advance our intelligent operating model.”

A positive outlook for Q4

Ingram Micro also published an outlook on its fourth fiscal quarter, predicting net sales between $17.5 and $17.9bn for the period ending 2 January 2027.

The distributor expects gross profits of between $1.075bn and $1.115bn in this period.

Bay continued, “The investments we are making in our platform, data and AI are enabling us to deepen customer engagement, improve productivity and increasingly turn intelligence into action.

“With our unmatched global scale, expanding platform capabilities and growing leadership in agentic commerce, we believe we are well positioned to capture the opportunities ahead and create long-term value for our shareholders.”
