Proact names Åsa Regen Jansson CFO
She takes up the position permanently after acting as interim for the past nine months
Sweden-HQ VAR Proact has appointed Åsa Regen Jansson as group CFO, effective 1 September.
She has served as interim CFO since December, when she replaced Noora Jayasekara, who resigned after two years.
Regen Jansson also assumed the title of interim CFO at the company for eight months between 2023 and 2024, following Linda Höljö’s departure.
Other finance leadership roles include CFO of Braathens Regional Airlines as well as SVP finance Nordics and acting CFO at Swedish entertainment provider Viaplay Group.
“Åsa knows our business well and has earned strong trust both within Proact and among our owners and analysts,” said Magnus Lönn, president and CEO of Proact.
“She combines commercial acumen with the leadership required to contribute to Proact’s continued development and profitable growth.
“Appointing Åsa as permanent CFO was therefore a natural decision.”
Proact's transformation
This follows a transformative period for the organisation.
Jonas Ekman, former VP of corporate development, was promoted to deputy CEO on 1 April.
In December, Niklas Jakobsson became business unit director for Nordics and Baltics and Jens Yhrefors was appointed CEO of Conoa, its cloud-native and IT infrastructure subsidiary.
That same month, the organisation completed the buyout of Consular ApS to boost its infrastructure and cloud solutions offering across the Nordics and Baltics.
The company was purchased for an initial consideration of DKK 65m on a cash- and debt-free basis, with a potential earn-out of up to DKK 22m.
Consular recorded roughly DKK 86m (£9.85m) in revenue and DKK 16m in EBITA for the 12 months to September 2025.
Following a challenging FY25, when revenue fell 3.8 per cent due to weaker performance in its West and Central business units, Proact has seen good momentum since the start of FY26.
Top line rose 2.3 per cent to SEK 1.2bn in Q1.
In Q2, turnover increased 9.8 per cent to SEK 1.3bn, fuelled by systems earnings.
While performance in the UK partially offset the company’s results in FY25, it was the only geography to decline in Q2 FY26.
Proact ranks number 88 on CRN’s Top VARs list.
