SoftwareOne unveils new 2030 targets fuelled by AI demand
The VAR now expects high-single-digit top line rise and EBITDA margin above 28 per cent
SoftwareOne has unveiled new 2030 financial targets to seize the opportunities driven by AI across enterprise software and cloud.
Speaking at its Capital Markets Day, the Switzerland-HQ VAR shared its ambitions to achieve a high-single-digit revenue compound annual growth rate (CAGR) by 2030, alongside an EBITDA margin above 28 per cent.
The company said the targets build on the integration of Crayon, which is now in its final stages and progressing ahead of expectations.
SoftwareOne completed its acquisition of the Norwegian organisation in July.
The combination has reportedly created a global organisation of around 12,000 employees across more than 70 countries, enhancing its scale, capabilities and customer reach.
“SoftwareOne’s business model is built on a core value proposition that has been reinforced through every major technology shift, and the combination with Crayon has created a truly global platform,” said co-CEO Melissa Mulholland.
According to SoftwareOne, AI is increasing governance requirements, driving software licence upgrades, accelerating cloud consumption and creating demand for new services as organisations prepare their environments for AI.
Co-CEO Raphael Erb added: “Every technology wave, from on-premise to cloud, from SaaS proliferation to multi-cloud, and now AI, has expanded demand for what we do.
“Today, we are presenting a clear and credible path to strong, profitable growth, powered by a business model that is delivering measurable outcomes for customers across the full technology lifecycle.”
In April, SoftwareOne announced the completed transition of the Crayon brand into its own, creating an entity of 12,000 employees operating in more than 70 countries.
The rebrand, which began on 1 April, will be rolled out in phases across markets.
This update comes as the firm’s top line jumped 64.7 per cent year-on-year to CHF 387.7m (£363.6m) in Q1, primarily reflecting the acquisition.
On a combined like-for-like basis, turnover increased 12.9 per cent, fuelled by three-year Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) agreements and early renewals.
In FY25, revenue rose 22.5 per cent to CHF 1.24bn (£1.17bn) and 1.4 per cent on a combined like-for-like basis.
SoftwareOne’s UK branch ranks number 77 on CRN’s Top VARs list.
