Imago adds Watchitoo HD platform

Online collaboration platform expands distie portfolio

Video comms distributor Imago Group has inked a global deal with online collaboration platform provider Watchitoo.

Peter Nice, head of new business at Imago, said the technology can can be integrated on to a company website to encourage community collaboration, host conferences and live events.

"It uses flash to deliver content and also features an accelerator to support live HD video to Android smartphones, iPhones and iPads, and it can be branded, allowing users to invite third parties to take part in conferences," Nice said. "The platform is very flexible."

Twenty-five people can take part in a videoconference that can be viewed by thousands, according to the vendor. The platform will be available to Imago resellers as a service.

Rony Zarom, chief executive of Watchitoo, said: "We think there is a great need for our innovative and uniquely engaging platform."
