Comms VAR Arrow expands public sector clout with Complete Networks buyout

Comms provider acquires Mitel and Paessler partner

Arrow Business Communications has acquired Complete Networks to expands its business into the public sector.

Arrow bills Complete Networks is a "leading provider" of critical managed WAN and LAN solutions. The business has had particular success in the NHS with a number of hospitals and two ambulance services in its customer base.

Based in Debyshire, Complete Networks works with vendors including Mitel, Cisco and Gamma.

The acquisition positions us perfectly to maximise opportunities within the public health sector as the transition to digitalisation builds momentum in the coming years."

Backed by private equity firm MML Capital Partners, Arrow kicked off a buy and build strategy in January last year. The firm was awarded a £50m war chest to put towards acquisitions following the private equity investment.

This is the third acquisition by Arrow since taking on the investment. Its last acquisition was in September when it snapped up Glasgow-based MSP Click Networks.

It previously acquired cybersecurity firm Altinet in July.
