In the most recent edition of CRN's Channel Digest newsletter, we round off the key vendor messages from a recent round of conferences.

Channel Digest: CRN on tour

Tis the season for conferences and the CRN team has been out and about attending various vendor and partner events. Last week it was Nutanix and CrowdStrike's partner summits.

Associate editor Kelsey Rees spoke with four CrowdStrike execs to get their key message to partners as the cyber vendor doubles down on its push to $10bn. From SIEM and cloud security to leaning on distribution to increase transaction rates, here's what they had to say.

Always one to walk the talk, the vendor also exclusively revealed to CRN that it is expanding its partnership with Ignition to cover the Nordic markets and grow its share there.

Increasing coverage at a time when customers remain tentative makes sense for CrowdStrike, especially as competition in the space heats up.

Finally, CrowdStrike partners from Computacenter, Bytes and SEP2 had their say on the vendor's channel offensive.

Elsewhere, Nutanix is making a concerted push to appeal to partners alienated in the aftermath of Broadcom's acquisition of VMware - check out our extensive coverage of that saga here. But what do partners make of Nutanix's overtures? Senior reporter Andrea Gaini has the rundown.

While the acquisition market has slowed down ever so slightly from its frenetic pace at the beginning of the year, we're still witnessing some interesting deals brewing.

This week, Yorkshire-based Redcentric confirmed that it was in talks to be acquired by Italian services provider Wiit, after much speculation. The two firms have until 21 June to come to an agreement and the UK channel will be watching with bated breath.

Meanwhile, reports emerged that N-Able has received a purchase offer from rival Barracuda, less than three years after the former was spun out from SolarWinds. What a time to be alive. The reactions so far have been many and mixed. More on that to come.

As always, thank you for reading CRN.
