Toshiba Electronics Europe has named Titan Data Solutions as a direct partner for Toshiba enterprise hard disk drives (HDDs) in the UK.

The partnership will enable Titan to provide UK customers with access to Toshiba’s array of enterprise HDDs, such as nearline (NAS), datacentre, and surveillance-focused models.

This new collaboration will also allow Toshiba to deliver its data storage solutions to Titan’s UK resellers and customers, particularly in the enterprise, datacentre, and cloud sectors.

“We are delighted to welcome Titan Data Solutions as a direct storage partner,” said Jeff Briggs, GM of the storage products division at Toshiba Electronics Europe.

“Titan Data Solutions brings a wealth of experience in the enterprise storage space.

“The company has a strong track record of building and supporting scalable solutions for a diverse range of end users [including] datacentres and cloud providers, as well as system integrators, and enterprise resellers.

“The company’s customer-centric approach and commitment to innovation align perfectly with Toshiba’s values and strategic goals.’’

Ben Jackson, CEO of Titan Data Solutions, added: “We’re proud to be joining Toshiba’s network of direct partners.

“The demand for robust and scalable storage continues to grow, and Toshiba’s enterprise HDDs allow us to deliver dependable solutions for our customers’ evolving data needs.”

The partnership is reportedly effective immediately.

Joint go-to-market initiatives, partner training, and promotional campaigns will follow throughout the rest of 2025.

This marks a return home for Titan, as the UK-based distie has been focusing internationally over the last year.

In April, it appointed Anand Chakravarthi as regional director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market, and signed an agreement with Nexsan a month later to develop its activities in the region.

It has also been more involved in the Nordics over the last 12 month, once again with Nexsan, as it expanded its distribution agreement with the vendor to cover the Scandinavian market, in an effort “to hit £100m by 2028,” Phil Browne, sales director at Titan, told CRN.
