Azzurri adds Lynch amid management refresh
Brendan Lynch unveiled as new sales director following arrival of new CEO last month
Azzurri Communications' new chief executive Chris Jagusz has wasted no time bringing in fresh blood in the form of new sales director Brendan Lynch.
Just a month after joining the comms integrator himself, Jagusz has moved to poach Lynch from Irish telco Eircom.
The CEO and sales director roles had been lying vacant following a top-management exodus earlier in the year that saw big cheese Vim Vithaldas and sales honcho Craig Wellman head through the exit doors.
Jagusz, who was previously managing director of SSE Telecoms, said Lynch would help drive forward the next stage of growth at Azzurri, which underwent a refinancing last October.
"His industry knowledge and insight will be invaluable in helping us to further solidify our position as the leading independent provider of innovative communications services to the UK enterprise market," Jagusz said.
"We're delighted to welcome a sales leader of his calibre to the team."
Lynch added: "I'm really excited to be joining a business with so much potential: I believe that Azzurri has everything in place to succeed - an outstanding base of customers, a market leading proposition and a team of highly motivated and highly skilled people.
"Azzurri is well positioned to help our customers address their business challenges by effectively exploiting the latest technology developments while managing and reducing their costs, and I'm relishing the opportunity to get started."
