Maintel pushes out Avaya cloud to boost services further

MSP chosen for Avaya carrier-grade early adopter programme

Managed services specialist Maintel is looking to ramp up its services opportunities with a new carrier-grade offering from Avaya.

According to a statement, Maintel is one of only a few partners that have been selected to spearhead sales of Avaya Aura carrier-grade contact centre and unified comms services for mid-market customers.

Eddie Buxton, chief executive of Maintel, said businesses need communications technologies that can adapt and be implemented easily.

"We're keen to enhance our cloud services portfolio further to support our aggressive expansion plans and enable us to take advantage of a booming market and strong demand among the end-user community across all our key verticals," Buxton said.

Maintel has been an Avaya partner for about 20 years.

Simon Culmer (pictured), UK and Ireland managing director at Avaya, said the offering can give customers greater flexibility, scaleability and cost control ability.

"The group's rich history of working with Avaya, combined with its knowledge and service guarantees, makes this a compelling proposition for organisations that want to explore the potential of hosting their enterprise or contact centre communications platform in the cloud," Culmer said in a statement.
