Nuvias adds Sennheiser to UC family

Pact with headset vendor covers the UK and Ireland

Nuvias has signed a deal with German AV giant Sennheiser, which the London-based distributor says will "further the quality of its rapidly expanding range of unified communications solutions".

The contract will cover the UK and Ireland, and will see Sennheiser's Enterprise Solutions portfolio - including personal communications, meeting, and online conferencing products - sold under the Nuvias Unified Communications brand.

Nuvias' EVP of unified commuications Steve Harris, said:

"While headsets, attached with our phones and cloud software, will form a major part of sales, Sennheiser is also an all-round audio innovator and has interesting options for conferencing and video, such as ceiling integrated audio conferencing solutions, which utilise the latest beamforming technology to automatically focus on the voice of the speaker.

"Products such as these will help our customers build a more professional and sleek conferencing environment."

Nuvias's unified comms brand is based on the former Siphon Networks, which was acquired by Nuvias in 2016.

The distributor, which now has offices in 21 countries, recently became a $500m (€409m)-turnover player after a 13 per cent year-on-year hike in its recent FY2017 results.
