Deadline for CRN's Sustainability in Tech Awards is just days away!

With Christmas and New Year celebrations about to kick off, the 5 January deadline will creep up faster than ever

There are just 11 working days left to submit your entry for the new-look Sustainability in Tech Awards in time for the 5 January deadline.

Unlike CRN's other awards, the awards won't be following the black tie/sit down meal format, but will be held as part of a wider Sustainability in Tech Summit on Thursday 8 February 2024.

The Summit and Awards are being held at BAFTA, 195 Piccadilly in London - a venue chosen specifically by CRN because of its sustainability credentials around carbon neutral events. An exciting new sustainability venture involving the whole channel will also be unveiled at the event.

Aimed at channel companies at any stage in their decarbonisation journey, the Summit includes sessions from environmental experts, channel peers who have already taken massive steps to Net Zero, and even an environmental research turned comedian. Former Tomorrow's World presenter and environmental journalist Philippa Forrester will also be giving a keynote. Delegates will be given key takeaways on how to advance their own journeys through thought-provoking sessions during the day.

A total of 12 awards will be given out at the end of the event, including a ‘Green Shoots' Award for companies in the early stages or at the very beginning of their sustainability journey, and a ‘Best Value Chain Initiative' award, aimed at firms that are actively tackling Scope 3 emissions across their supply chain. Other awards include ‘Sustainability Champion' accolades, Circular Economy Company of the Year, and ‘Green Product of the Year', plus many more.

Once the deadline has passed, entries will go into a two-stage judging process, with the final panel of judges meeting virtually in late January to decide the winners in time for the February event.
