Leapfrog to new pad
Bolton audiovisual reseller sets up in new premises, rebrands and expands
Leapfrog AVIT has moved into new Bolton premises as the VAR embarks on its next phase of expansion, rebranding and recruitment.
Lee Bevan, founder and chief executive of Leapfrog, said the education and bespoke comms specialist has grown and developed "enormously" in recent years.
"We are now at the stage where we can offer a unified communications service for our clients," he said.
"We still build bespoke communications offerings for our customers, but where they need that extra support and maintenance we now provide a support package."
The company is now based by Junction 5 on the M61, on Wigan Road.
Bevan said the VAR is also about to go on a recruitment drive to add to its existing 15-strong team of IT and communications staffers. Numbers are expected to triple by autumn this year, he added.
Ten-year-old Leapfrog is also being rebranded as The Leapfrog Group, and restructured into four different departments - audiovisual, IT, communications, and support and maintenance.
Last year's successes for the VAR included audiovisual projects at The Point at Lancashire County Cricket Club, for Airkix indoor skydiving, the Manchester Visitor Information Centre, and Manchester's indoor snow centre Chill Factore.
Bevan said new contracts are in the pipeline as well as more contracts with customers based abroad.
