Carlene Jackson and Bob Anderson have been appointed as general managers in Sage's UK mid-market division, with Jackson taking charge of the software vendor's new CRM unit.
The SageCRM and Saleslogix products previously sat under the umbrella of the vendor's enterprise division, but were given their own wing earlier this year. Jackson, who has worked in the CRM space for almost 15 years, was picked out by industry speculation as the likely choice to lead the nascent unit.
She claimed that the Sage portfolio was "unrivalled" in the CRM arena.

“With businesses increasingly looking to develop trusted customer relations, [Sage] is well placed to generate significant growth in CRM," she added.
Anderson will head up the mid-market enterprise division. He joins from software firm Click Commerce. Both he and Jackson will report to the mid-market division's managing director Greg Ford.
"With the appointments of Bob and Carlene, our customers and Business Partner community can be assured that they will continue to receive the products and services they need to help grow their businesses," said Ford.
Anderson said: “Not only does Sage have a great brand and an impressive install base, its products have been built upon unrivalled local knowledge."
