Managing director, Westcoast

What achievement are you most proud of?

This year, appearing on the BBC Radio 4 Today programme and being interviewed by John Humphries.

What has been the biggest change in the channel since you started working in it?

It has expanded into new, diverse areas - retail merchandising, office products, cloud services, managed services - and distribution has adapted to take advantage of these new opportunities.

What three things could you not live without?

My wife (too important to be left out), my iPhone and my wife's phone when I have lost mine!

What has been your most embarrassing moment so far?

Joe Hemani pretending he was the cleaner in a customer meeting in my early days at Westcoast.

What do your family think you do all day?

Win things! Contracts, customers, vendors, dinners or prizes!

Who is your ultimate celeb crush?

Boris Johnson.

What is your guilty pleasure? Pointless.

What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?

Ban TCP! Or maybe ensure that the UK had THE very best connectivity available across the whole country.

Has 2015 been a good, bad or ugly year?

Good - but not fantastic. However, Westcoast continues to go from strength to strength and delivering growth in a tough and highly competitive market.

If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would you do?

TV game show host - Come on down!

What major issues will the channel face in 2016?

Changing business models and making money from the cloud.
