What has been your business highlight of 2022?
Moving jobs! Having spent 14 glorious years at Britain's largest and best distributor, I joined NSC Global in September. It's a big personal move having seen Westcoast grow by some £700m in 2021 to retain its leading position.

Phil Bell at Westcoast - what a great sales leader.
If you had a warning label, what would it say?
"Be prepared for excess enthusiasm - ear protectors may be required."
What was your first job?
Selling men's underwear in Marks & Spencer Marble Arch (employee of the month, March 1981!)
What was the last book you read, and was it any good?
Your First 100 Days by Niamh O'Keefe - I just re-read it! Good for anyone taking on a new role.
What's the most important lesson you've learned from another business leader or mentor?
"There's no problem in business that's too big to fix" (Jane Green - EY Partner).
Who would play you in a movie of your life?
Alex Tatham - I have an Equity card!
