Imago Group has been appointed master distributor for Datmedia’s range of Datpresenter web TV software.
Peter Nice, head of new Business development at Imago, said the Datmedia deal would complement its range of various encoders.
“The beauty of the Datmedia product is that it can be used with any of these or even with a customer’s existing encoder,” Nice said.

Stephen Clee, founder and managing director of Datmedia, said Datpresenter can be integrated with video encoder equipment, interactive whiteboards, learning management and content management systems.
“We needed a partner that not only understands this market, but delivers to the highest standards in this market. We see this partnership with Imago Group as a cornerstone in our SaaS and installer distribution chains,” Clee said.
Datpresenter helps users create and brand their own web TV channels with synchronised rich media, building up a library of live and on-demand webcasts.
Datpresenter is Shareable Content Object Reference Model(SCORM)-compliant for educational and business environments. It suits online customers simultaneously running streaming video synchronised with PowerPoint, or displaying secondary video or advertisements.
Content can also be published on a website or to DVD or CD.
