What was your first job and were you any good at it?
Packing shelves in a cash and carry warehouse. I was good at it. It's why we are here today.
Who was your top teenage pin-up?
I didn't have one.
My colleagues won't know this about me but... I suffer from shyness.
What is your favourite snack?
Blue Riband chocolate bar.
What has been your career high point to date?
Buying a Macintosh computer.
Has 2013 been good, bad or ugly?
It has been good, working with a nice group of people.
What do you say when asked at a party what you do for a living?
Selling telephones and communication products.
If I wasn't working in the channel I would probably be... in wholesale distribution in a different sector.
What will be the channel's biggest challenge in 2014?
Backing the right suppliers going forward.
