John Rando, senior vice president and general manager of services at Compaq, has announced his resignation, the fourth executive to leave the vendor in three weeks. US reports claimed he had left to pursue 'personal interests' and that his departure had nothing to do with the shake up under way at Compaq, following chief executive Eckhard Pfeiffer's resignation last month.
