Specialist distributor Avnet Technology Solutions is broadening its wireless and mobility offering by signing a pan-European agreement with data capture vendor Datalogic.
The agreement will see Avnet become a Datalogic Quality Partner. As part of the agreement, Avnet Applied Computing Solutions, a division of Avnet Technology Solutions, will also add Datalogic’s data capture products to its portfolio for distribution to the pan-European market. This includes the entire ranges of mobile computers and hand-held readers from Datalogic.
Gian Paolo Fedrigo, general manager of Datalogic said: “Avnet Applied Computing Solutions’ entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with the quality, depth and breadth of its knowledge and relationships fits in perfectly with Datalogic’s philosophy. With Avnet Applied Computing Solutions on board, Datalogic’s products can reach an even wider range of resellers, systems houses and integrators.”
Sukh Rayat, vice president for Avnet Applied Computing Solutions and Avnet Computing Components, said: “Avnet Applied Computing Solutions is pleased to be a distributor for Datalogic in Europe. Datalogic will be a key strategic partner as we build our Pan European Wireless & Mobility business. This move enables us to expand our existing Wireless & Mobility solutions.”
