Centennial sets sights on channel expansion
Security vendor aims to recruit 20 more resellers in the UK and Europe over the next 12 months
Security vendor Centennial Software is planning to increase its channel across Europe with new partners and an expanded channel taskforce.
Centennial aims to recruit 20 new EMEA resellers over the next 12 months, and has already signed Insight, Pillar Solutions, Network Utilities and Fusion.
The vendor has also added four new members to its in-house channel team, including Steve Atkins from Unipalm and Andrew McConnell from LANdesk.
Marc Adams, senior vice-president for field operations at Centennial, said: “We are 100 per cent channel focused and we want to expand our channel footprint.
“We looked at what our end-users would gain value from and then added resellers that would appeal to this. I believe the VARs we have signed can demonstrate a dedication to offering a complete solution.”
Adams added that channel expansion will continue across Europe and that the UK figure of 35 partners is set to increase.
“We work well with partners looking to add real value, we are not just shipping plug-and-play products, so this is a real value-add service. Our partners are strong in customer support and driving the adoption of our products,” Adams said.
Michelle Lewington, managing director at Network Utilities, said: “We have decided to work with Centennial as we felt the product could integrate neatly into our security portfolio.
“The product is a door-opener that will interest our current customer base and it allows us to up-sell and gather new clients.”
