Badger couple are arrested
Tony and Anita Dalton, directors of defunct dealership Badger Computers, were arrested by Warwickshire fraud squad last week.
The couple were taken in for questioning last Thursday, for the second time in three months, but were subsequently released on police bail.
No charges were pressed but the police are continuing their enquiries into the possible theft of assets from Badger, which fell into liquidation in May 1995.
The couple were questioned about the assets of T&A Peripherals, a firm set up by them in May 1995.
A statement from Warwickshire Constabulary, said: ?We are investigating the business operations of Badger Computers. A married couple in their fifties from Kenilworth in Warwickshire have been arrested in connection with fraudulent trading. They have been released on police bail and an advice file is to be sent to the Crown Prosecution Service in February.?
Badger went into voluntary liquidation in 1995 owing 39 creditors #175,000. Creditors included Datrontech, Hammer Distribution and Free Spirit Technologies.
