If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be? I think it would be fun to be Tim Cook at Apple, mainly to see all the cool products before everyone else.
What will next year’s most overhyped industry buzzword be? Probably hybrid. Everything is now a hybrid of something else.
Has 2012 been a good, bad or ugly year? A mixture of all three really. Every time we have some good, along comes the bad and ugly to spoil it.
What would you have as your last meal? A New York sirloin steak.
What keeps you awake at night? Currently my two daughters who have little concept of night and day.
What piece of technology could you not be without? I am embarrassed to say I am addicted to my iPhone. I am now on my sixth.
Have any of your predictions come true this year? Not really. I predicted that HP were on the up after the global partner conference and subsequentially bought quite a lot of shares. As you can imagine, that wasn’t the best move I’ve made.
What is the best partner/customer trip you have ever been on? We ran an incentive trip this year to the Wynn in Las Vegas for 60 of our sales team. It took me two months to recover.
What do you see as the channel’s biggest challenge in 2013? Stock answer but it has to remain the economy. It influences all aspects of what we do.
