Azlan takes VAR development plan to next level
Advance with Azlan programme moves up a notch as distributor helps resellers differentiate their businesses
Andrew Sheppard: It is all about taking business forward
Azlan, the networking arm of Tech Data (Computer 2000) has moved its Advance with Azlan programme to the next phase of development.
The firm launched the programme two-years ago as part of a pan-European development programme, and includes targeted vendor education campaigns, and joint marketing and promotional activities that help resellers boost technical skills and differentiate their businesses from the competition.
The distributor claims the latest move has seen it pour more resources into the scheme by adding additional processes to the existing structure, and to enable it to produce even more information and supporting materials for VARs.
Andrew Sheppard, UK director of Azlan, said: "Advance with Azlan is about makign the development support and backing that we give to resellers more tangible and more personal. It is all about helping them to build their skills and capabilities and address new categories of the market where there is real growth potential. It is all about taking their business forward."
“Our success is dependent on the success of our customers, and through Advance with Azlan we can ensure that they have full access to the expertise, account management and support they need to make the most of the tools and resources available to them," he added.
