Trust Systems looks to quadruple revenue in two years
Cirencester-based VAR hoping to reach the £12m revenue mark by the end of 2016
Cirencester VAR Trust Systems is hoping to quadruple its revenue over the next two years, according to newly recruited commercial director Mike Dowson (pictured).
The firm currently has revenue of just over £3m and is hoping to reach the £12m mark by the end of 2016.
Speaking to CRN, Dowson said: "It's a big challenge; we are a relatively young business but we have very big ambitions.
"That growth will mean we will be looking for new talent as well, and we are looking to at least double our staff in the next two years."
The firm has 18 staff and is partnered with the likes of Cisco, IBM and HP.
Dowson commented that he felt this expected growth at Trust will be driven largely by the retail sector.
"We have a number of large retail vendors who have come back to us because they know I am back in town," he said.
Dowson, who joined Trust as a shareholder as well as a director, previously worked at managed services and infrastructure provider APSU, which he left in 2012. He then joined Dublin-based Celtech Software before being approached by his former colleague Nick Potts, managing director at Trust, seven months ago.
He commented that the new role felt like "putting on an old pair of shoes, because it's a business that is based in the same areas as my old business and is trading with similar products".
Potts said: "We are delighted to have Mike back on board. It was a very straightforward move and we are both looking forward to the future."
